Hey Everyone! I hope y'all have had a great week! I hit my 4 month mark here in Navarre! I feel like I have been here for so much longer but it goes by so fast! its hard to explain.
So This week was WET! It rained Friday, Saturday, Sunday and today.
Tuesday we had a good day. We had a great district meeting. I taught about the Holy Ghost. It went better than I thought it would. Thank goodness. We then had lunch with a less active. She had us help her wrap some Christmas Presents. She is super nice and we are her "Main Girls." We had our Christmas Party Saturday and she drove us there. We thought she left us but we found her and said "we thought you left us" she said back "Are ya kidding me? I wouldn't leave my two main girls" She also calls us her home girls. She is like 50, its great! We tried some other less actives but no one was home so we did some street contacting. We also took R and E on a church tour. That went good.
Let me just tell you all how much I DISLIKE goat heads!! They are EVERWHERE!!!!!!! They just get in everything. I often find them in our Apt floor. grrr.
Wed... was just one of those days. We went to Choir... haha and worked at the thrift store.. oh and had our Christmas Party there. The manager gave us $25 gift certificates there for Christmas .
Thursday was mom and dads anniversary. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!!!!
We then finally got to meet with one of our investigators that we haven't seen awhile. She is doing good. We saw E and R. That was good. We then did #weeklyplanning
We had dinner with a member.. let me just tell you I will NOT be that returned missionary.........
We then had a funeral that we had to go to. It was for a non members husband. She wants to be baptized but she doesn't understand we have to teach her first. We will start teaching her when she gets back in town. After the services we had to go to Correlation Meeting. That was good. That RM was there to......
Friday we did our usual we saw some less actives. We did get to meet with one who invited us over for Christmas. We are looking forward to that. Her husband isn't a member. Then we had movie night. The only people that came was the Navarre Elders and the Gulf Breeze Elders and us. so we just watched the Restoration in hopes that someone would show up.. nope. Good movie though.
Saturday, we helped set up for the ward Christmas party. It was a night in Bethlehem. That went really well. Then we worked at the Thrift store. We saw V and M, We watched "Joy to the World". M who is a non-member was crying. He is not super open about his feelings. He then asked for a copy of the movie. He said he really enjoyed it. when V asked about it he was just quite, he was still teary eyed and changed the subject. It was actually a really neat experience.
After that lesson we went and had our Christmas party! That was really great! the missionaries and ward mission leader where in charge of the "gifts of the Magi" We sold " Gold, Frankincense and Muir." It was really cool.
Sunday was a day full of Church! We went to Gulf Breeze Sacrament because R and E couldn't come to Navarres but we really wanted them to go so we went with them. We then went to our ward. That was good. Sister Cooper sang in the Choir. They did good.. We then saw a less active on the Island. She is super nice! She got Sister Cooper and I massive bags of treats! Well it is wrapped but she told us it was treats. She is super nice and loves us coming over! Then we had dinner with the C's. They are a great family. Their dad is deployed right now.
Well, that is really all I've got for you this week! I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas! I love you!!
Love, Sister Hannah Seegrist
