Hey y'all!
This week was a slight struggle. We had a few apt.'s fall though as normal, but it was a actually pretty good. We try to make the best out of it.. We got to see more less actives because of those apt.'s not following through. So that was a miracle.
We did have a really good lesson with our Gator T. she is an older lady, we really just try to determine our relationship with her. She really opened up to us and told us about a lot of her fears about church and religion. It was a very well needed visit that if we hadn't listened to her and the spirit could have been a little rough or could have ended in us not seeing her that day.
This week we learned about attitude and having a good attitude and learning how to strive to develop Christ-like attributes and having that good attitude while working on them. It was a really great lesson this week.
We had a few people just vent to us this week, so we got to play the role of a councilor lol. Good practice for the future I guess!
Another miracle lesson for this week was our lesson with the S. These are a part member family. There are 2 kids, 16 and 9. They live with there single dad.
So we taught them the Plan of Salvation. They really took that in. They asked questions and the Father who has been less active since he was baptized 20 years ago was able to answer his daughters questions. The spirit was really there testifying to the girls and to the father as well. We invited them to church and the dad was all about that. He said he thinks it would be really great for their family, so hopefully they will be able to make it soon.
So as you can see we had some really good spiritual lessons this week. I am so grateful for this wonderful area and for the wonderful people Heavenly Father has prepared for us here at this time. I am so grateful for my companion and for the friend she is to me.. I feel that my testimony has really truly gotten so much stronger since I have been out. I am really grateful for the members here in Bonifay. It's amazing to see that no matter where you go you will always find those STRONG members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
I am so grateful for our church leaders and all the stuff they do for us. Because they can see and realize the amount of LOVE God really does have for each of us.. I cant imagine how much that amount of love is. I think of how much I love my family and my nieces and nephews and to think God loves us 100X that much, it's amazing. I am so grateful for missionary work and for the happiness the Gospel can bring to others. I love y'all and am so grateful for each one of you! Stay strong and remember to KEEP THE FAITH!
Hope you have a wonderful week!
Love, Sister Hannah Seegrist
