Hey y'all!
This week has been so crazy!! My companion was sick this week and we yet again did a TON of service.. I don't really have a ton to write from this week.. other than about service... We did a ton of yard work for a in active member.. She is super nice and us and the elders were able to help her out a ton.. Her yard was covered on poison ivy... So we got a little bit itchy...but nothing to bad.. We really had a good time helping her out.. It was all fun and games.....until her dog got out........
So we were just working away and then we were like is that your dog.... she was like oh no.... so then the dog thought we wanted to play.... Long story short... the dog ran away and the elders chased her...but didn't catch her.. and we spent about 2 hours looking for the dog. We saw her a few times but she kept running from us... we even tried to bribe her with Pizza.... we then just decided to let the dog come back on her own.. So we left... the dog came back late that night....
I think that really is the only exciting story from this week honestly..
We got to have dinner with President and Sister Smith. That was really good. We shared a message on Charity and I shared Charity's story with them.. They really enjoyed it.. They said she should enter it into the Ensign.. So that was cool. I was like that's my sister!! haha..
Anyways, I am running out of time but I am so grateful for y'all and y'alls support.. I am so grateful for the time that I have had to serve my mission. I have truly grown so much and I am so blessed to have served here in this amazing place with these amazing people! I know that I have met some of my best friends here. I know that Heavenly Father has placed me in each one of my areas with each one of my companions for a reason! I am so grateful for the relationship I have built with my Savior Jesus. I have been able to come to understand just a bit more about the Atonement and about the importance of having a
Savior.. I am so grateful for the knowledge that I have of this Gospel and of the happiness that it brings to me. I know that Heavenly Father lives and he loves us so much! He is so mindful of each one of his children. He wants what is best for us.. We just have to trust him.. I am so grateful for the plan of salvation. I am so grateful to know that I will live with my family for all eternity if I keep the commandments. I am so grateful for Joseph Smith and the faith he had. I am grateful for the Fullness of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love this church and I love this work! I will see y'all in a few days!
